NJCAA announces upcoming championship changes
Charlotte, NC - Following the NJCAA Convention in Birmingham, AL, the NJCAA has announced several adjustments to national tournament formats and policies as approved by the Championship & Sports Governance Committee and the Board of Regents.

- Division I implements official video replay review beginning in 2023
- Division II expands to 12-team bracket
- Division I men's, women's basketball implements media timeout policy throughout national tournament
- Division II men's, women's basketball expands to 20-team bracket
Division I, II Men's, and Division I Women's Golf
- Permits student-athletes to use cell phones while on the course for live scoring
- DI men's golf adjusts automatic qualifier numbers
- Moves championship to the spring semester, held in conjunction with DIII men's tennis
- All divisions men's, women's soccer adds day to national tournament to implement a second rest day
