NJCAA and Athlete Viewpoint extend partnership
Charlotte, NC – The NJCAA has announced an extension of its partnership with Athlete Viewpoint to continue to be the Official Student-Athlete Survey provider through July 31, 2024. A partner since 2018, Athlete Viewpoint will continue to support NJCAA member colleges as they monitor student-athlete health and well-being, manage department operations and personnel, develop strategic planning initiatives and evaluate championship events.
"Athlete Viewpoint is tremendously proud to be the Official Student-Athlete Survey of the NJCAA and to renew this partnership," said Jennifer Cross, Co-Founder of Athlete Viewpoint. "This association's mindset of continuous growth and positive improvement makes them a leader among industry associations and demonstrates their commitment to their membership. We are excited to partner with the NJCAA's leadership again to continue to support their goals for meaningful assessment."
NJCAA member colleges are taking advantage of Athlete Viewpoint's offerings and measurable data. Tommie Reams, Allegany College of Maryland Athletic Director and Men's Basketball Coach, believes that growth comes from self-evaluation and explains how these surveys allow their athletic department to make the biggest positive impact on student-athletes' lives.
"In today's age of data-driven decision making we are looking for the best way to truly capture our student-athletes' attitudes and dispositions during their time here," said Reams. "Athlete Viewpoint gave us this opportunity. Their user friendly interface allows us to capture important information that we can then use to make decisions about how we operate."
Athlete Viewpoint's mission is to provide every student-athlete an opportunity for both a distinctive education and a championship experience. With industry-leading tools, NJCAA member colleges have the ability to gain insight and valuable data about the student-athlete experience, mental health, and trends.
"Athlete Viewpoint continues to put our student-athletes at the forefront of every effort, prioritizing their welfare and success," said Dr. Christopher Parker, NJCAA President and CEO. "Over the next three years, our athletic departments will have the opportunity to further utilize resources and support student-athletes like never before."
