Upcoming NJCAA DIII Volleyball Championship sites announced

Charlotte, NC – The NJCAA has announced the host sites for the upcoming NJCAA Division III Volleyball Championships in 2025, 2026, and 2027.

Cedar Rapids Tourism will host the three-day championship at the Alliant Energy PowerHouse in Cedar Rapids, IA from November 13-15, 2025.

"The Cedar Rapids Tourism Office is excited to hear the 2025 NJCAA DIII Volleyball National Championship will be coming to Cedar Rapids in 2025," said Jay Fanta, Cedar Rapids Director of Sports Tourism. "Cedar Rapids has hosted several collegiate national championship events in recent years, and we look forward to working with the NJCAA and local partners on hosting another great event in 2025."

Cedar Rapids Tourism previously hosted the NJCAA DII Volleyball Championship in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 while also having hosted the NJCAA DIII Volleyball Championship in 2023. They are also set to host the DII and DIII Volleyball Championship in 2024.

"After reviewing all the positive feedback from the coaches who attended the 2023 DIII Volleyball National Tournament in Cedar Rapids, IA, the DIII Volleyball Committee was excited to have the opportunity to hold the National Tournament again at the Alliant Energy PowerHouse," said Kurt Kohler, NJCAA DIII Volleyball Chair. "Experiencing the tournament in a premier facility like Alliant and with the city of Cedar Rapids and Cedar Rapids Tourism being such gracious hosts, the committee unanimously selected this site to host the tournament again in 2025."

College of DuPage will host the national tournament on its campus in Glen Ellyn, IL from November 12-14, 2026, and November 11-13, 2027.

"We welcome the NJCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament to College of DuPage and the community of Glen Ellyn," Director of Athletics and Recreation Ryan Kaiser said. "Chicagoland, and particularly its western suburbs, holds women's volleyball in the highest regard. We are grateful to partner with the NJCAA in promoting and hosting what promises to be another showcase event for College of DuPage.''

DuPage's Physical Education Center has a capacity of 4,620 and includes a 40,000-square foot main arena with a 160-meter indoor track. Klaas Court is named after long-time men's basketball coach Don Klaas, who coached the Chaparrals for 35 years and led the Chaps to a national championship in 2002.

"With the NJCAA Division III philosophy to uphold, promote, and protect the educational experience of the student-athletes, the DIII Volleyball Committee discussed the importance of returning to a member-college campus within a competing DIII region for the 2026 and 2027 NJCAA Volleyball National Tournaments," stated Kurt Kohler, NJCAA DIII Volleyball Chair. "College of DuPage, with its longstanding tradition of hosting national events and its exemplary facilities, was selected as the site for the 2026 and 2027 tournaments. I believe College of DuPage will create an incredible student-athlete experience, and we're excited that they will be hosting the tournament in 2026 and 2027."
