DI Volleyball Championship final to stream on ESPN+

Charlotte, NC - The NJCAA, in partnership with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), has announced that the 2022 NJCAA Division I Volleyball Championship final will stream on ESPN+.

The 16-team national tournament will be held at the West Plains Civic Center in West Plains, MO, from November 17-19, 2022.  The national title match is slated for 8:30 PM ET / 7:30 PM CT.  All prior rounds of the NJCAA DI Volleyball Championship will air live on the NJCAA Network, the official digital platform of the NJCAA.

"This is an example of partnerships that work for student-athletes and coaches," said AVCA Executive Director Kathy DeBoer. "The AVCA is thrilled to join the NJCAA in showcasing our top women's volleyball teams. We are also grateful for our relationship with the NJCAA Volleyball Coaches Association, Dr. Parker, and his staff."

This announcement comes shortly after the NJCAA released news of a multi-year media rights agreement with ESPN to begin with the 2022-23 academic year that also includes nationally televised championship games for Division I Football, Division I Men's Basketball, and Division I Women's Basketball that will air on an ESPN televised network, as well as regular season content on ESPN+.

"The NJCAA has had an overwhelmingly positive response to our new relationship with ESPN and we are excited to add the Division I Women's Volleyball National Championship game on ESPN+," stated Dr. Christopher J. Parker, NJCAA President & CEO. "We are very appreciative of the partnership with AVCA and the leadership of Kathy DeBoer to make this a reality. With the continued support of our fans and member colleges, we look forward to growing the exposure of volleyball and all of our sports moving forward."
