Charlotte, NC - The NJCAA has announced Pernilla Hardin, Oxford Emory (GA) head men's and women's tennis coach, to be inducted into the NJCAA Women's Tennis Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

Since joining Oxford Emory as the head tennis coach of both the men's and women's tennis teams in 2014, Pernilla Hardin has guided the Eagles to outstanding back-to-back national championship title runs. The men have won five consecutive national championships in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 and the women have achieved six consecutive national championships in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021. The women's team also finished second in the nation in 2014. This year, the Eagles won six of nine championship flights in Peachtree City, GA to capture the 2021 NJCAA DIII Women's Tennis Championship by fourteen points. Hardin earned NJCAA Coach of the Tournament honors for the third consecutive season, and the fourth time in the last five seasons.

As a result of Hardin's dedication to the tennis squads, the coach has been named coach of the year eight times. In addition to coaching, Hardin is a college instructor in the Center for Healthy Living, keeping academic success as a top priority. With her leadership, the men's and women's tennis student-athletes consistently earn NJCAA All-Academic team and individual award honors.
