PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. – Sweeping every flight in the NJCAA Division III Women’s Tennis Championship, Oxford Emory (Ga.) clinched back-to-back national titles Saturday at Peachtree City Tennis Center.
- Oxford Emory totaled 36 points followed by 19 from runner-up Fashion IT (NY)
- Hayley Keats repeated as No. 1 singles champion
- Kelsey Sattler won No. 4 singles after winning No. 2 singles in 2015
- Lianne Anderson won No. 5 singles after winning No. 4 singles in 2015
- Freshmen Caroline Kawula, Mary Kathryn Healy and Sally Kim won individual titles
- Kawala, Healy, Sattler, Anderson, Kim and freshman Aliyah Auerbach earned doubles crowns
- Oxford Emory has won three DIII women’s tennis national titles (2011, 2015, 1016)
- The Eagles join DuPage (IL) and Rowan Gloucester (NJ) for second-most all-time
- Mercer County (NJ) has won the most championships with four
- Oxford Emory has a chance in 2017 to join Rowan Gloucester as the only teams to three-peat
