DuPage Edges Kingsborough for DIII W Tennis National Championship

Tucson, Ariz. -- College of Dupage (Ill.) edged defending champion Kingsborough Community College (N.Y.) by a half point in the final standings at the 2010 NJCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships held at the Reffkin Tennis Center in Tucson, Ariz. The national championship is the third for DuPage in four years. 

DuPage captured the individual titles in flights four (Katie Schneberg ), five (Katie Sawyer ) and six (Elizabeth Nelson ) in singels competition and also took first place in the third flight (Shannon Wright & Sabin Sadiq ) in doubles play. They also took second in the second doubles flight (Sara Wissmiller & Katie Schneberg). 

Kingsborough won the first and second flights of singles competition (Erina Kikuchi and praksi Yushkova) and also earned a runner-up finish in the third flight (Arielle Kamen). In doubles play, the duo of Erina Kikuchi & Epraksi Yushkova took first place in the first flight.
