Women's Soccer Players of the Week - (Sept. 11-17)
Anne Arundel's Deanna Valerien came up big in net for the Riverhawks to earn weekly honors
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The NJCAA National Office announced Wednesday the Women's Soccer Players of the Week for all matches played during week three of the season – Sept 11-17.
Theoni Zerva of Monroe CC (NY) tallied 16 points last week to earn DI honors while Mandy Clark of Iowa Western posted back-to-back shutouts for a pair of Reiver wins. Anne Arundel's (MD) Deanna Valerien earned DIII goalie of the week honors after the sophomore stopped 29 shots, including a 22 save effort in a 2-0-1 week for the Riverhawks.
