Charlotte, NC – The NJCAA has announced a change to the game time for the 2023 NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship final. The DI Women's Championship final on Monday, March 27 will now be played at 9:00 PM ET / 8:00 PM CT. The championship contest will be nationally televised for the first time on ESPNU as part of a multi-year media rights agreement with ESPN.
The Division I Women's Basketball Championship tips off on Wednesday, March 22, and will be played at the Rip Griffin Center in Lubbock, TX, for the eighth consecutive year. The national tournament will consist of twenty-four teams competing for a national title. The single-elimination seeded bracket is comprised of 16 district champions and eight at-large selections. The top-eight seeds receive first-round byes in the tournament.
