Oxford to host 2025 DII Softball World Series

Charlotte, NC- The NJCAA has named the City of Oxford the host for the 2025 NJCAA Division II Softball World Series. 

The City of Oxford will host the five-day national tournament at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, AL, from May 20-24, 2025.  

"We are very pleased and honored to be the host site for the NJCAA Division II Softball World Series," stated Don Hudson, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Oxford. "We have a great working relationship with the NJCAA and are looking forward to hosting another national championship event for NJCAA."

Choccolocco Park hosts up to 800 spectators with amenities including a press box and Musco lighting, as well as locker rooms for participating teams. The City of Oxford has previously hosted the Division II Softball World Series at Choccolocco Park in 2021 and 2022 and will serve as the location for the NJCAA Division I Softball World Series in 2023 and 2024.  

"We look forward to having this world series in Oxford once again," stated Brian Luckett, NJCAA Senior Vice President for External Affairs & Development. "Choccolocco Park is an outstanding venue with great amenities, and we are excited to see how they help this world series continue to grow."  

The NJCAA Division II Softball World Series will be held at Tyger River Park in Spartanburg, SC, for the next two seasons. Beginning in 2024, the tournament field will expand from 16 teams to feature 20 teams including 16 automatic qualifiers and four at-large selections.
