Daytona State to host 2025 NJCAA DI Men’s Soccer Championship

Charlotte, NC – The NJCAA has awarded Daytona State College a bid to host the 2025 NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship.

Daytona State will host the 12-team national tournament on its campus in Daytona Beach, FL, from November 16-22, 2025.

"Daytona State College had the honor of hosting the NJCAA DI Men's National Soccer Tournament in 2018 and the DI Women's National Soccer Tournament in 2021 and we are tremendously excited to host the men's championship again in 2025," stated Dr. Tom LoBasso, President, Daytona State College. "Hosting the top 12 teams from around the country for a week will be an incredible economic opportunity for local businesses. This is our time to shine, and we look forward to welcoming everyone into our home."

The state-of-the-art 800-seat soccer stadium serves as a venue for local soccer clubs, summer sports camps, school groups and Daytona State community partners. All athletes will have access to the fitness and aquatic center and field houses throughout the championship.

"We look forward in 2025 to the sun in Daytona, Florida. Daytona State has hosted successful championship events in the past, and we are confident that they'll continue to do a great job," stated Vince Gibson, NJCAA DI Men's Soccer Chair.

Daytona State College launched its men's and women's soccer programs in 2016 and has since achieved remarkable results in the ensuing years, including Region 8 and Southeast District Championships and multiple appearances at the NJCAA National Tournament.

In addition to soccer, Daytona State offers NJCAA Division I athletic programs in men's and women's basketball and cross-country; women's volleyball, golf, softball and flag football; and men's baseball. The new Esports program took top honors in the NJCAAE grand finals in Super Smash Bros Ultimate in its very first season.

Visit Wichita will host the 2024 NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship at the SCHEELS Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, KS, from November 17-23, 2024.
