2024 DI Men's Golf Championship awarded to Hobbs

Charlotte, NC– The NJCAA has awarded New Mexico Junior College a bid to host the 2024 NJCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship.    

New Mexico will host the 24-team national tournament featuring nearly 150 student-athletes at the Rockwind Community Links in Hobbs, NM, from May 14-17, 2024. 

"New Mexico Junior College and the City of Hobbs, NM are excited and proud to be the 2024 host of the NJCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship," said Deron Clark, Athletic Director at New Mexico Junior College. "Rockwind Community Links will provide an excellent venue for the elite competition the NJCAA produces. The City of Hobbs is prepared to share the week with the amazing athletic golf talent that will be competing at Rockwind. Fun and exciting will be our catchphrase for this upcoming national tournament!"  

Rockwind Community Links is a 27-hole golf facility owned and operated by the City of Hobbs. The award-winning facility includes a championship 18-hole course, a 9-hole par-3 course, a dual-ended practice range, and multiple short game areas for practice and learning.

"The Rockwind Community Links is an incredible facility that has held countless golf tournaments and we're excited to see the event flourish in Hobbs."  

The 2023 NJCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship will be held at Sand Creek Station Golf Course in Newton, KS from May 16-19.
