Ayres Inducted into NJCAA Bowling Hall of Fame

Charlotte, NC – The NJCAA announced Howard Ayres as a new inductee into the NJCAA Bowling Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

Howard Ayres bowled for Erie Community College in 1998 and 1999 where he was a two-time NJCAA All-American. Ayres won the NJCAA Men's Bowling Team National Championship both seasons and won the All-Events and Doubles titles in 1999. He led Erie to a new NJCAA record for the highest team total (all events & 9 Baker games) with 15,062 in 1999.

Since then, Ayres competed in five events, earning two cashes, on the 2018 Professional Bowlers Association Tour. Ayres has bowled 45 career perfect games and 34 800 series.
