VALHALLA, NY -- Daniel Thomas Ruminski has been named to the NJCAA Bowling Coach’s Association Hall of Fame for 2014.
Ruminski, who currently lives in Parma, Ohio, bowled for Cuyahoga Community College (Ohio) in 1990 and 1991. Cuyahoga finished second at the NJCAA Bowling Invitational in 1991 and Ruminski won the All-Events National Championship.
In both of his seasons with Cuyahoga, Ruminksi earned honors as a first-team NJCAA All American. In addition, he took third place in doubles in 1991.
In 1991 he also recorded an 803 series, which was the highest individual series bowled in YABA that season.
Ruminski will be inducted at this year's NJCAA Bowling Championship Banquet in Cheektowaga, N.Y., at the Salvatore’s Italian Garden on Friday, February 28.
