Charlotte, NC - Herkimer College has been awarded a bid to host the 2024 and 2025 NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championships, as announced by the NJCAA.
Herkimer will host the 12-team national tournament at Varsity Gymnasium on the campus of Herkimer College in Herkimer, NY, from March 12-16, 2024, and March 11-15, 2025.
"Herkimer is grateful to the NJCAA for being selected to continue as the host institution for the 2024 and 2025 NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championships," said Donald Dutcher, Herkimer College Director of Athletics. "We will take great pride in providing an exceptional experience for the student-athletes, coaches, families, friends, and community involved with the tournament. It is a unique opportunity for Herkimer to be part of the national spotlight in showcasing a high-level basketball tournament."
Herkimer most recently hosted the 2023 NJCAA DIII Men's Basketball Championship for the first time. The Generals have a rich history of hosting NJCAA championship events including hosting Division III Soccer, Softball, and Men's and Women's Lacrosse national tournaments for a number of years.
