Charlotte, NC– The NJCAA has announced Cayuga Community College as its host for the NJCAA Division III Baseball World Series in 2024 and 2025.
Cayuga will host the eight-team national tournament at Falcon Park in Auburn, NY from May 25-29/30, 2024, and May 24-28/29, 2025.
"Cayuga Community College is excited to host the 2024 and 2025 NJCAA Division III Baseball World Series at Falcon Park," stated Dr. Brian Durant, Cayuga Community College President. "In 2018 Cayuga resurrected its baseball program and partnered with the City of Auburn to retrofit Falcon Park, the city's minor league baseball park, with a new artificial turf surface. This state-of-the-art facility hosts not only Cayuga's baseball team, but also our softball and soccer programs, and is still home to the Auburn Doubledays of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League. We believe Falcon Park is one of the best in all junior college baseball, and we're excited to showcase this facility over the next two seasons."
Falcon Park hosts up to 2,800 spectators with amenities including an LED lighting system, video scoreboard, and sound system, as well as clubhouses and bullpens for participating teams and a press box.
"We are excited for Cayuga and the City of Auburn to welcome the DIII Baseball World Series in 2024," stated Brian Luckett, NJCAA Senior Vice President for External Affairs & Development. "Falcon Park will be a great location to host this world series and provide a top-quality national tournament experience."
The 2023 NJCAA Division III Baseball World Series will be hosted on the campus of Tusculum University in Greeneville, TN, from May 27-May 31/June 1.
