Lauria named Spalding® Defensive Player of the Year

Charlotte, NC - Ocean County's Kyle Lauria has been named the 2019 Spalding® NJCAA DIII Baseball Defensive of the Year.  Playing in one of the toughest NJCAA DIII Baseball regions in the country, the sophomore third baseman boasts an outstanding 1.000 fielding percentage on 183 total chances.  In his tenure as a Viking, Lauria's consistent play in the infield placed him on back-to-back NJCAA Region XIX First Team All-Region lists in addition to earning two-time NJCAA DIII Baseball All-America honors.
