Northeast Head Coach Marcus Clapp on Smith

"I am so happy for Drew and all his accomplishments this year. He is truly deserving of this honor with all the time and all of the hard work he puts into this game. He is a special young man both on and off the field and I am so proud to have had the opportunity to coach him but more importantly to get to know him as a person!"

Smith's reaction

"My mom always told that through all the tough times, there are minor setbacks for major comebacks. This all wouldn't be possible without my teammates and coaches. They all pushed me to be the best, and for that, I am forever grateful."
