HERKIMER, NY… In a game that saw two of the top teams in the country facing each other, the host Herkimer College Generals got the best of the Genesee Community College Cougars 1-0 Saturday afternoon.
Madison Papaj made 26 saves in net for Genesee. The Cougars offense tried what they could with Maggie Dabb leading the way with three shots on net and Diante Scheepers with two.
Genesee (8-4) returns to action on Wednesday, October 9 at 2 pm as they travel to Finger Lakes Community College.
