BATAVIA, NY… The nationally-ranked Genesee Community College women's soccer team defeated the Erie Community College Kats Thursday evening 1-0. The victory is the seventh of the season and first in Western New York Athletic Conference action.
Autumn Ressue got the Blue and Gold on the board midway through the opening half to open the scoring on a PK.
The visiting Kats would try everything to get a shot past Madison Papaj but Papaj would stop every Kat shot to earn the shutout.
