Team walking off the field after a 1-0 shutout at TC3

DRYDEN, NY… On a windy day in Central New York Tuesday afternoon, the nationally-ranked Genesee Community College women's soccer team defeated the Tompkins Cortland Community College Panthers 1-0.
The lone goal in the contest came late in the opening half as Alexa Jordan found the back of the net after a pass from Macie Riggs. The Cougars offense put 20 shots towards the Panthers net.
Madison Papaj and Alexa Salatel split time between the nets for Genesee.
Genesee 's (6-2) next contest will be at home on Thursday, September 26th at 6:30 pm against the Erie Community College Kats. The game will be streamed live on www.geneseeathletics.com
