NJCAAE welcomed Leonardo Soriano as an Operations Associate in January 2025. Soriano has worked in the Esports Industry (Collegiate, Amateur, Professional) for 10 years. Before Soriano’s role at NJCAAE, he was the League Operations Manager for Wisdom Gaming where he compiled rulebooks and formats for over 100 tournaments at Wisdom Gaming. Some of the biggest tournaments he had worked on were Riot Games’ Wild Rift North American Series Season 0 & 1 and Riot Games’ North America Teamfight Tactics Esports Set 5-9.

Soriano has also worked at various organizations such as GGTech North America, Unified Esports Association, and Upsurge Esports working on tournaments such as College League of Legends (CLOL) and College Valorant (CVAL).

Soriano enjoys playing Dota 2 and JRPG games such as the Final Fantasy series and the Shin Megami Tensei series. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Soriano graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in biology.
