Amanda Turner

Bio

Amanda Turner joined the NJCAA National Office staff in October 2024 as an Athletic Communications Associate. She then transitioned to the role of Marketing & Communications Associate in August 2025. Turner graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management in 2022 and a Master's Degree in Sport Management in 2023, both from Florida State University. While at FSU, Turner served as an assistant in the Florida State Athletics Sports Information Department. She served as the primary media contact for the Men's Tennis program while assisting other sports on gamedays.

During the 2022-23 academic year, Turner was an Assistant Director of Media Relations at Mercer University primarily overseeing Men's Basketball, Baseball, Men's Tennis, and Women's Tennis.  She then moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she worked for three professional sports teams: Carolina Ascent FC, Anthem Rugby Carolina, and the Charlotte Independence. During her time with these teams, she helped launch two brand new clubs for their inaugural seasons.

Originally from Snellville, Georgia, Turner now resides in Lexington with her husband, Trey, who is a basketball coach. The two of them enjoy watching and attending sports together. Turner is excited to work at the NJCAA national office to support and make a difference in the lives of so many student-athletes across the country.
