Mohawk Valley to host 2024 and 2025 DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championship

Charlotte, NC – Mohawk Valley Community College has been awarded a bid to host the 2024 and 2025 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship, as announced by the NJCAA.

Mohawk Valley will host the three-day meet at Thomas R. Proctor Stadium in Utica, NY, from May 9-11, 2024, and May 15-17, 2025.

"We are excited to be hosting the NJCAA Division III Track & Field National Championship again this year," said Dominic DiMaggio, Mohawk Valley Athletic Director. "I believe Utica is a great city to host this event and we are looking forward to another successful championship weekend."

Mohawk Valley previously hosted the DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championship in 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019, and 2023.  

Mohawk Valley has a state-of-the-art facility that contains a replay board along with indoor facilities in case of a needed location change due to weather.

"The NJCAA looks forward to once again having this championship in Utica," stated Brian Luckett, NJCAA Senior Vice President for External Affairs & Development. "Mohawk Valley has hosted several NJCAA national tournaments and will continue to take strides in creating the best championship experience for our student-athletes."   

The Hawks have also previously hosted the Division III Women's Basketball Championship four times and the Division III Women's Soccer Championship two times.
