NJCAA Foundation Awards Dinner Postponed to 2021

Charlotte, NC - The NJCAA Foundation has postponed the Inaugural Awards Dinner and newly created NJCAA Hall of Fame recognition to Friday, June 18, 2021.

"The health and safety of everyone involved is our top priority and postponing the Awards Dinner is the best decision at this time," stated Brian Luckett, NJCAA Foundation Executive Director. "We look forward to having a memorable event in 2021 to recognize the extraordinary student-athletes and achievements from the association."

The Inaugural NJCAA Foundation Awards Dinner will honor the best in two-year college athletics through the creation of the NJCAA Hall of Fame, the Champion Award, and the Difference Maker Award.  The event will also recognize the NJCAA student-athlete individual awards for Spring 2020, Fall 2020, and Winter 2021 student-athletes.  The event was originally scheduled for June 12, 2020.

"Our main priority is having a great inaugural event that the NJCAA student-athletes, coaches and member colleges deserve," said Timothy Britt, NJCAA Foundation Chair. "It is unfortunate that we need to postpone but the NJCAA Foundation and the Charlotte community will be ready for the event in 2021."
