As part of a multi-year media rights agreement with ESPN, beginning with the 2022-2023 academic year the NJCAA will have nationally televised championship games for NJCAA Division I Football, Division I Men's Basketball, and Division I Women's Basketball that will air on an ESPN linear network, as well as regular season content on ESPN+. 

During the regular season, ESPN+ will exclusively stream 13 NJCAA football games, 25 men's basketball games, 25 women's basketball games, 20 baseball games, and 20 softball games each year of the agreement. In addition to these, the industry-leading sports streaming service will air the NJCAA Division I Baseball and NJCAA DI Softball Championship final games. 

Below is an FAQ that will answer the most common questions NJCAA fans may have about watching their favorite NJCAA sports and teams.

Do I need to sign-up for an ESPN+ subscription?  

  • Yes, to watch live NJCAA content on ESPN+, you need to be a subscriber.  If you already have ESPN+, you are all set for watching NJCAA games.  If not, you will be required to create a new ESPN+ account.

How do I subscribe to ESPN+ and what is the cost? 

  • A subscription to ESPN+ is available for purchase via the ESPN App and ESPN.com, and fans can only access ESPN+ content after they have subscribed.  To sign up, please click https://watch.espnplus.com/sports/sign-up-now/.  ESPN+ is offered at a price of $9.99/month or $99.99/year and covers not only NJCAA content but all ESPN+ content that may include your favorite NJCAA team in non-conference road events along with a variety of professional sports.  It is also available as part of The Disney Bundle that gives subscribers access to Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu for $13.99/month (Hulu w/ads) or $19.99/month (Hulu w/o ads). Subscribers to Hulu + Live TV also receive ESPN+ at no additional cost.  ESPN offers a 7-day free trial as well, and no long-term contract is required -- sign up or cancel anytime.  ESPN+also does not require a cable subscription.

Where can I watch ESPN+ with my subscription?

  • A subscriber can watch ESPN+ in the Watch tab of the latest version of the ESPN App, available on the web, iPhone, iPad, tvOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, XBOX One, Playstation 4, Samsung Smart TVs, and FireTV.  ESPN+ is also available on ESPN.com.

  • Yes, your subscription will allow you to watch all ESPN+ content, including select games from MLB, MLS, NHL, and more, plus features such as the entire ESPN 30 for 30 libraries.
