Cross Country at the Koala Classic

Louisburg College cross country competed in the Koala Classic at Columbia College on October 3. The following are linked results.

Seth Sharpe led the way with a 25:35. This earned him a top 10 finish and is a very impressive career opener at the 8k distance. He was followed by Dexter Hill who ran 26:37. Coach Ruppe commented, "I'm excited for Dexter. This is a huge PR for him whose personal best last year was 28:00." Noah Bankston also really stepped up and put himself in a position to help the team be successful.

At the meet was also Augusta University (8th NCAA D2, 2019) and The Citadel (NCAA D1). Spartanburg Methodist College was the only other NJCAA D1 team running. Louisburg is currently ranked 12th nationally for NJCAA D1.
