Herkimer, N.Y. - Mattson Darrah (Porirua, New Zealand) and Solomon Silas (Lagos, Nigeria) each scored 17 points off the bench against F-M in Herkimer's 80-72 victory on Thursday. Silas also picked up 11 rebounds (9 defensively) to give Herkimer a boost on the boards. Freshman Derrick Felder (Yonkers, NY) led the Generals in scoring with 19 points on the night. Herkimer overcame a first half deficit (44-42) to outscore F-M by 10 points in the second half of play.
The win brings Herkimer's overall record to 17-4 (7-3) on the year. The Generals will play on the road 2/10 against Schenectady CCC at 3 pm.
