Host Niagara County Community College was swept by nationally-ranked and unbeaten Monroe CC in Western New York Athletic Conference action Tuesday night. The scores were 15-25, 13-25, 15-25. NCCC drops to 4-9 overall.
Offensively, sophomore outside hitters Miranda Newman and Allie Bubar combined for 11 kills. Bubar added four digs. Freshman outside hitter Kelsi Palistrant added three kills and five digs and sophomore setter Morgan Boss had 15 assists and four digs.
Next up for the Thunderwolves is Saturday's pivotal Region III pod matches at Corning CC. Action is set to begin at 9 a.m.
