In the elimination round of the NJCAA Division II World Series, Phoenix College lost to Rock Valley College, ending their season with a 42-11 record and a No. 10 national ranking. The Bears, 2024 West Region Champions, managed 3 runs on 10 hits, with doubles from Penelope Hurtado and Kassidy Juarez and RBIs from Riley Martens, Penelope Hurtado, and Cheyenne Ben. Pitcher Alexis Ayersman threw 107 pitches over 6.2 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 6 hits with 5 walks and 1 strikeout in their final game against Rock Valley. Despite the loss, the Bears had an outstanding season. Congratulations on a great season. Go Bears!
