Bailey's Walk-Off Picture Ending In BSC Victory Over Harford
Virginia Beach, VA - BSC Bobcats seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off home run at the end of the game to topple Harford Fighting Owls Fighting Owls Varsity. The game was tied at seven with the Bobcats batting in the bottom of the seventh when Warren Bailey hit a solo homer.
Josè Cazorla led the Bobcats to victory by driving in four runs. Cazorla went 2-for-3 at the plate. Cazorla drove in runs on a grand slam in the third.
Harford Fighting Owls got things started in the second inning when Nick Gaitan singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
BSC put up four runs in the third inning. The Bobcats scored its runs on a grand slam by Cazorla.
Darian Fumero led the Bobcats to victory on the pitcher's mound. The fireballer surrendered one run on one hit over one inning, striking out three and walking zero. Roberto Velasquez, Shane McCarthy, and Jack Norris all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.
Alex Margot took the loss for the Fighting Owls. Margot went two and two-thirds innings, allowing one run on one hit, striking out two and walking zero.
Khalil Reynolds started the game for BSC. Reynolds surrendered four runs on three hits over one inning, striking out one Braedon Karpathios started the game for Harford. The hurler lasted two innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out two and walking zero
BSC socked two home runs on the day. Cazorla went for the long ball in the third inning. Bailey went yard in the seventh inning.
Cazorla led BSC with two hits in three at bats. The Bobcats didn't commit a single error in the field. Cazorla had the most chances in the field with nine.
Mason Hicks went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Harford in hits.
