The Reivers couldn't overcome a slow start in their home invite! A team total of 586 (+10) for the 36-hole event put us in 2nd place behind Indian Hills CC.
A first round 295 (+7) was led by a 71 (-1) from sophomore Jason Kolbas. Freshman Calen Bishop fired a 73 (+1) to help the cause.
In the afternoons final round, The Reivers showed a little more consistency but, it wasn't enough to track down eventual champion Indian Hills CC. A 291 (+3) round 2 total was again led by Jason's -2, 70. His freshman teammate Matt Dennis also shot a final round 70 (-2). Jason's 2-round total of 141 (-3) was good enough for 3rd place individually.
A couple of individuals found themselves inside the top 10! Shoma Taguchi ended up in a tie for 5th after rounds of 70-73 (143, -1). His freshman teammate Ethan Smith opened with a 71 (-1) in the morning round and followed that with a 76 (+4). His total of 147 (+3) placed him in a tie for 9th.
