Justin Zapata had nine kills and Kevin Lorenc continued his fine season with 19 assists as Middlesex College Men's Volleyball snapped a four-game losing streak with a sweep of Borough of Manhattan CC.
The Colts won their sets by scores of 25-20, 25-18 and 25-23.
Middlesex is now 9-8 on the season with games remaining against Ocean CC and Brookdale CC.
Against Manhattan, Middlesex rallied for come-from-behind wins in sets one and three and also received a strong performance from Deivy Perez (Sophomore/Perth Amboy, NJ) who had six kills and a team-high 12 digs.
Cristopher Agurto (Sophomore/Perth Amboy, NJ) added 11 digs for the Colts.
Middlesex returns to the court on Friday when they take on Ocean CC. The match is set for a 6:30PM start.
