No. 11 Men's soccer goes quiet offensively in loss to Arizona Western.

No. 11 Men's soccer fell, 2-0 Saturday against Arizona Western Saturday,

Mesa wasn't able to muster much offense in the game as they were only able to record one shot during the contest. Arizona Western was able to be aggressive offensively as they were able to generate 11 shots.

Arizona Western was able to find the back of the net in both halves as they were able to score off a header set up from a corner kick in the first half. In the second half the Matadors were able to increase their lead after a bouncing ball led to another goal off the head of an Arizona Western player. 

With the loss the Thunderbirds record falls to 8-3-1 overall, with a 3-2-1 conference record. They sit 4th in the ACCAC rankings with four games left.

The Thunderbirds will hit the road for their next game as they will face Paradise Valley Tuesday, October 4 at 1:00 pm.
