- Fort Scott defeated Colby CC 4-0 on Saturday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Austin Neal struck out #16 to finish off the game.
- One bright spot for Colby CC was a single by #5 in the second inning.
- Stuart Smith was the winning pitcher for Fort Scott. Smith lasted four innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out five. Neal and Jett Feltman entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Neal recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Fort Scott.
- #1 took the loss for Colby CC. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing six hits and four runs while striking out five.
- Fort Scott racked up seven hits on the day. Matt Campbell and Peyton Messenger each managed multiple hits for Fort Scott. Messenger and Campbell all had two hits to lead Fort Scott. Fort Scott was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Brody Szako made the most plays with 12.
- #5 led Colby CC with two hits in three at bats.
