Cross Country Wraps Up Trip to SUNY Geneseo

GENESEO, N.Y. - The Finger Lakes Community College men's and women's cross country teams traveled to SUNY Geneseo for the 42nd Annual Mike Woods Invitational.

On the men's side, freshman Zachary Lester earned the top and lone finish for the Lakers with a time of 32:38.2. On the women's side, freshman Megan Calder (Victor, N.Y./ Victor) continued her strong start to the season with another impressive performance. Calder would finish the race with a time of 27:18.4 to earn the top finish for the Lakers. Following closely behind Calder was a teammate Morgan Cheney (Pultney, N.Y./ Prattsburgh) who completed the race with a time of 30:01.2.

Up next for the Lakers is a trip to Painted Post, N.Y. for the Mid-State Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Corning Community College.
