Generals Beat North Country 64-47 to Improve to 12-1

Herkimer NY- The Number 2 nationally ranked Herkimer Generals hosted the North Country CC Saints for a Region 3 matchup. The  Generals dominated from the tip-off. The Generals led from the first half on, to down the Saints 64-47. Herkimer dominated the paint all night, out-rebounding the Saints 44-29, while out-scoring them 38-22 points near the rim. 

The Generals were led by sophomore center Chris Volo(Westbury, NY) who had a double-double on the night scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Sophomore guard Shykell Brown and Keyshawn Miller (Yonkers, NY)  turned in quality night for the Generals. Brown scored 12 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist while Miller scored 9 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. 

The Generals are back in action Wednesday (1/26) when they take on Mohawk Valley CC.
