CCBC Recap

The Lions are now 2-4 after winning back to back games this past week. The first 74-64 at Anne Arundel Community College Riverhawks on Wednesday and 77-68 at home on Saturday versus The Community College of Beaver County Titans. The Titans would jump out to their largest lead of 5 up 11-6 with 15 minutes left in the first half. The game was always close and filled with 8 ties and 14 lead changes. The game was tied at 30-30 before the Titans made both shots from the charity stripe to send us to half down 32-30.

The game was once again tied this time at 46-46. Titans make a layup and go up two. Mikko Arnorld responds with a three to give the Lions the lead. The Lions make a stop and then Zavier Mayo hits another three for the Lions. Mayo would score two more threes in a row to catapult the Lions to a 58-52 lead. The Lions would ride that lead off into the sunset eventually extending it to ten points before winning 77-68.

The Lions are off for Thanksgiving break with their next game coming on November 30th against Frederick Community College.
