PERKINSTON — The Mississippi Gulf Coast men's tennis team registered its first sweep of 2021 Thursday with a dominating performance over Coastal Alabama-South at the MGCCC Tennis Complex.

The Bulldogs didn't drop a set in winning all nine courts to improve to 4-0.

Clay Fudge (Fr., Madison/Madison Central) didn't drop a game in his win at No. 3 singles and neither did Pedro Molero (Fr., Maracaibo, Venezuela/U.E. Instituto Americano Joseph John Thomson) at No. 2.

Macute teamed with Wesley Fontaine (So., Biloxi/Biloxi) and only dropped one game in their No. 1 doubles match, as did Molero and Fudge at No. 2.

The Bulldogs' match Friday at Southwest Mississippi has been postponed because of expected bad weather. They travel to East Central on Tuesday to resume MACCC play.
