Guyette leads women's golf to victory at Pima Fall Invite
Tucson, AZ – Led by Jolie Guyette who shot a five-over par 75, the Mesa women's golf team won the 18-hole Pima Fall Invitational Monday at the Silverbell G.C. Guyette finished second.
The win was the 19th straight in ACCAC competition for the MCC women who shot a 315 to top host Pima which carded a 327.
Kelly Pickron was fourth with a 78 and then Mesa players took spots 6-9: Abby Schmidt with an 80; Paige Layaoen 82; Vivianna Holguin 83 and Mackenzie Vongphosy 84.
Next up for the T-Birds is the Redhawk Rumble Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at the Las Sendas G.C., in Mesa.
