Knights fall in two games against Dodge City CC

The NPCC Knights Volleyball Team dropped two games on the road against Dodge City Community College.

The final scores for the first game were 21-25, 16-25 and 22-25. Ramsey contributed 10 kills and six digs. Wood and Woods each had five kills. Chintala led the team with eight digs while Stegall had 19 assists.

The final scores for the second game were 24-26, 24-26 and 20-25. Ramsey led again with nine kills, and Woods followed with seven. Stegall contributed 25 assists.

"I think we are a better team than getting swept both games," said NPCC volleyball head coach Alexa McCall. "We have to learn how to close out games in tough situations. We made some good adjustments after the first game but just had to execute and close out sets." 

That brings the Knights to 5-8 on the season.

They will be on the road again Tuesday against Northeastern Junior College at 7 p.m. in Sterling, Colo.
