Indian Hills Loses at Home to Iowa Western

Ottumwa -- Indian Hills took the first set, but Iowa Western won the next three and the No. 3 ranked Reivers defeated IHCC on the Warriors' home court Wednesday night.

IHCC opened up a 22-15 lead in the opening set and went on to win 25-22.  Genesis Sheridan had back-to-back kills to nail down a 25-17 victory for IWCC in set two; it was Sheridan with the winning kill in the next set, Iowa Western winning 25-22; and the Reivers closed it out by a 25-18 score in the 4th set.

Cecilia Campos led Indian Hills with 14 kills, one more than Mariana RodriguesAmanda Toyota was credited with 17 digs and Rodrigues had 11.  Brooke Johnson-Watkins and Rafaela Borges teamed up on a block to end the first set and they were each in on six blocks for the night.  Setter Yasmin Assis had 43 assists.

Indian Hills plays twice in Missori to end the week -- at Jefferson on Friday and Mineral Area Saturday.
