The CVC Baseball Team were able to pull out one victory in their three-game Metro Athletic Conference series against the Eastfied Harvesters.
The Suns fell in game one after a late rally by EFC, 9-6. Grant Moore went 3-5 in game one recording a run and an RBI.
The Harvesters shutout Cedar Valley in game two, 19-0.
In game three, the Suns erased a 3-2 deficit late in play, and went on a 9-1 run to clinch the win, 11-4.
On the mound, Blake Birdwell went eight inning notching four strikeouts to receive the win. Billy Rogers had a game-high four RBIs with Moore posting three runs.
The Suns close out their 2018 regular season this week against Brookhaven.
