No. 2 Badgers Finish Regular Season Undefeated; Roll Past Gordon's Sports Academy, 77-0

EPHRAIM, Utah (May 15, 2021) -- No. 2 Snow College dismantled Gordon's Fine Arts and Sports Academy, 77-0, on Saturday in the Badgers' regular-season finale. With the win, Snow improved to 8-0, marking the team's first undefeated regular-season since 2008, and the fourth unblemished regular-season record since the Badgers' National Championship season in 1985. 

Snow started the game with a 75-yard touchdown pass from Garrison Beach to Tevita Noa on the first play from scrimmage. The Badgers scored 35 points in the first quarter before head coach Zac Erekson started making a number of substitutions. Snow scored on every offensive possession of the game, including the longest drive of the game that took seven plays before Ruben Beltran scored on a four-yard run.

Offensively, the Badgers racked up 351 yards rushing with a total of 15 different ball carriers. Caezar Warren led the squad with 59 yards on just two carries, including a 47-yard touchdown run. Starting quarterback Garrison Beach was 1-for-1 for 75 yards and one touchdown. Ruben Beltran and Gabe Sweeten combined for 4-of-6 attempts for 21 yards and one touchdown. 

The Badger defense allowed just one Panther first down and held GFASA to -12 yards of total offense, including -17 yards rushing and five yards passing. Snow totaled four interceptions, including Sione Molisi's 42-yard interception return for a touchdown with just :52 seconds remaining in the game.  

The win marked the fifth victory of 40 or more points this season, including the third victory of 50 or more points. On the season, the Badgers' average margin of victory was 37.63 points per game. Snow posted a record of 3-0 against nationally-ranked opponents during the season. 

The Badgers will now prepare for a post-season bowl invitation. Ranked No. 2, Snow College is hopeful to receive an invitation to the NJCAA National Championship bowl game on Saturday, June 5.
