Game two was all Saints as they scored three runs in the second inning, two in the third and three more in the fifth to end the game due to the eight-run rule. A bases loaded double by Prom cleared the bases to end the game.
"I felt like our bats woke up today," said SF head coach Lindsay Fico. "We consistently made adjustments in the box and executed with runners in scoring position."
Gopbourne (6-6) earned the win going the first four innings in game one with Jessica Parsells and Morgan Lebeda finishing things up in the circle. Cris Beasley (6-2) pitched the final four innings in game two allowing no runs and two hits while striking out five to get the win.
"We pitched by staff today," said Fico. "Everyone handled themselves well in the circle when their number was called."
