Suns Baseball Takes First MAC Series of the Season Against Richland

The CVC Baseball Team didn't let inclement weather slow them down as they claimed their first Metro Athletic Conference series of the season defeating the Richland Thunderducks in games one and two of a three-game set.

In the game one 8-5 victory, Billy Rogers hit two home runs, going 2-3 from the plate, registering three runs and four RBIs. Ryan Boaz earned the win from the mound, while Skyler White was awarded the save.

The Suns fell in game two, 13-3. Rogers and Nolyn Box hit home runs in the loss, with Box posting a team-high two RBIs. Daniel Quintanilla went 3-4 from the plate.

To close out the first series meeting with the Thunderducks, CVC sealed the series with a 6-5 game three win. Six different Suns crossed the plate, with Seth-OZ Inocencio notching two RBIs. Jesus Fraga picked up first win from the mound.

Next up, Cedar Valley will host Mountain View in the first game of a three-game series.
