RedTail Women’s Golf Takes Fourth in NIACC Invite

The RedTails traveled to Mason City on Tuesday, September 26, shooting an overall team score of 336 and taking fourth place.
It was a great day for some RedTail golf at Highland Park Golf Course. Chase Doland broke her own single round school record, shooting 76 and tying for third place individually. Olivia Hammel tied for 16th place, with a score of 84. Both Libby Larkin and Bailey Nuss shot an 88, tying for 21st. Calli Thome shot 111, placing 37th.
Head coach Micah Destival had positive words after the great round.
"The women's team played great today and lowered their school record by 13 shots," he said. "Chase Doland continued her stellar play by leading us with another school record breaking 76. We've spent most of the fall playing tournaments, but have had a couple good practices and it's starting to pay off with lower team scores. We are looking forward to the Waldorf Invite on Friday to try and keep the good play going."
The RedTails next invite is the Waldorf Fall Invite, on Friday, September 29, at Rice Lake Golf Course.
