NEW ORLEANS, La. --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fought to the end but fell 89-83 to the Delgado Community College Dolphins here tonight.
With the loss, the Bulldogs fell to 0-3 on the season. Holmes returns to action on Monday night in Goodman vs. Miss. Delta at 6 p.m. Watch live at holmesccmedia.com/white-channel.
Delgado led 44-30 at halftime, but the Bulldogs took the second half, 53-45, but it wasn't enough to pull out the win.
Tyler Talley led the Bulldogs off the bench with 16 points while Caleb Campbell had 14 and Lazamion McGruder had 10. Darrius Clark led the Bulldogs with six rebounds.
The Bulldogs shot 48.5 percent from the floor (30-of-62) and 62.1 percent from the free throw line.
