SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College women's soccer team moves to 1-5 overall, 0-3 in conference play, after traveling to Lancaster, SC for a conference matchup with the Lancers.

 

Lancaster took an early lead in the 10th minute and would remain ahead 1-0 until the 42nd minute when Angie Finnerty lofted a ball above the keeper on a free kick, to even the score 1-1 at the half. The Lancers would find the back of the net three times in the second half to take the 4-1 victory. Tiffany Hargett was credited with 10 saves through regulation.

 

The Richard Bland women's soccer team next hosts Wake Technical Community College on Wednesday, September 21st in a nonconference contest. Kickoff is set for 2pm.
