The Lions come out of the weekend 1-1 after dropping the second to the Community College of Rhode Island 78-66. This puts the Lions at 5-11 on the season.
This was a rough on for the Lions as the closest time they were to the lead is when they tied the game up 2-2. The Knights would take an early 12-6 lead with 14 minutes left in the first half. The 10 point lead would hold for the Knights as the were up 22-16 with 8:46 left in the first half and 39-29 into halftime.
The Lions opened up the second half on a 13-6 run to bring the game within three, 45-42 but the Lions had the tables turned as Rhode Island would go on a 17-5 run and get their 10 point lead right back. The Lions would go on to lose 78-66.
